While he's away....
This beautiful mama has been my clients for a few years now. I first photographed them right after their first was born. Lauren is from my ward back home and I now consider her a good friend! Her husband is in the Military and had a tour overseas for a year, you may remember this shoot I did for them about a week before he left!
After he left, she wanted to capture this chapter in their lives. So we did a shoot:) When she posted these pictures online after she got them she titled it "an incomplete family picture" So true...
Soldiers are hero's and so are their wives they leave behind. My sister was married to a solider who did 3 tours and I personally saw the weight it brings to a family. The women behind the solider carries a load most don't see. To be a single mom so your husband can fight for us, for our country. The kids without their dad for extended periods of time, sometimes again and again. My hats on to the entire family! They deserve more than we can ever give them in return.
You Military families are extraordinary and I thank you for your husbands/sons/brothers/sisters/moms/dad service and for your sacrifice.
